- Secure the material to be worked on to avoid oscillations.
Application area
Polishing natural stone such as marble and granite.
Instructions
- Use with pneumatic or electric polisher with maximum rotation of 4,000 rpm.
- Use plenty of water during the polishing process.
- After cutting or roughing the material, apply each type of sandpaper, grain by grain, starting with the coarsest.
- It is not recommended to alter the order of the grains or to skip steps to shorten the working time. This decreases the quality and durability of the gloss effect and ruins the disc or reduces its service life.
- When there is no further development of the gloss effect, change to a disc with a higher grain and repeat the process until the final high-gloss effect is reached, grain 10,000.
- Use of 36 grain, optional in the pre-gloss process, generally performed with a fine roughing or tapered abrasive disc.
